TSAVO SAFARI
Tsavo National Park has an area of 21,812 KM2. It has large herds of elephants, lions, zebra, giraffe and other wildlife and is known for the legend of the Tsavo Man-Eater. Overnight in Voi Lodge overlooking 2 waterholes, a meeting point for a variety of animals especially during the dry season.
SHIMBA HILLS SAFARI DAY TRIPS
Full Day Trip Inclusive of Lunch at the Shimba Lodge, Starts at
6.00 am in the morning, we pick you up and drive you for about
45 mins to Shimba game reserve, please note that this is a small reserve, a rainforest with a few animals and no cats but it is the only park in Kenya with rare Sable Antelope. Once inside the park make game drives until around 10.30 am then you will proceed to visit the Sheldrick falls, this a short walk through the park, the afterwards proceed for lunch at around 12.30 pm. Relax after lunch until you feel you well rested, the go for the afternoon game drive, leave the park thereafter at around 4.00 pm arrive at you hotel at around 6.00 pm.
Short Excursion to Shimba Hills with overnight at Shimba Lodge
Pick up from your hotel at around 1.00 pm and drive to Shimba Hills,
arrive after 45 mins drive, proceed for game drives until around 4.30 pm,
then slowly back to the lodge for your overnight. Shimba lodge has a
waterhole and elephants can be seen from time to time, taking their baths.
Next morning game drives starts early morning after breakfast, leave the
park at around 10.30 am and arrive in time for lunch at the hotel.
It is important to note that the Shimba safari is normally a relaxing trip
and not a place for a person searching for a lot of animals.
