Visit & help in a local orphanage
The Diani Children’s Village was started in 1994 with an objective of providing orphans, neglected and abandoned children with a home.
The home caters for basic needs; health care, education, recreation, skill building opportunities etc. This is to give the children hope and provide a foundation for a future independent life.
BUSH TOUR (Village walk & medicine man )
Depart early afternoon. Drive into Ukunda village for about 45 minutes.
Interact with the villagers; meet the village bush doctor & watch local dances.

Kaya Kinondo Forest walk
Kaya Kinondo is a sacred forest where bush doctors and locals still perform rituals to the spirits of the land and the sea. The forest is magnificent and old. There are a lot of monkeys and birds like the horn bill and the Colobus monkey. A guide takes you for an hour's walk through the thick forest where he will explain the traditions and culture of the medicine men and women who have been coming here for centuries.
Bike Tour (exploring Diani beach)
This is a guided ride along the beach for those who want to do a bit of sightseeing, we then stop at designated areas that are good for snorkelling and walks to the reef. It is only possible when the tide is out. Here one can take a walk to the reef and spot different species of plant life and sea creatures. Our guide also shows you the best waterholes to snorkel and also hire a boat from the local fishermen out to the snorkeling areas. This tour normally lasts about 3 hours.
Bike Tours ( Kongo river )
The ride to the Kongo river takes approximately 45 minutes. Kongo river is the point where the river meets the sea. There are a lot of birds, mangroves, sea creatures to be seen. You will take a guided tour up the river towards Ukunda as you bird watch and enjoy the serene surroundings. The whole tour lasts for about 4 hours.
Founded by our director, this organization works to protect the Colobus monkeys and other monkeys. A visit to the Colobus centre will enlighten you on the plight of the primates and the efforts made to conserve wildlife in Diani. All proceeds goes to helping the trust. This whole tour takes about 1 hour.
